Library at a Glance
Baneswar Sarathibala Mahavidyalaya Central Library started its journey in 2015 with its rich collection. It is the heart of the learning process in the college. The main aim of our college library is to disseminate knowledge through our collection and services. Having more than 6000 books including reference books and a good number of journals/magazines the college always try to hold up its teaching learning process as well as research culture among faculties, students and staff members.
This library provides free open access to huge number ofelectronic journals and e-books. The library provides open access to all teachers, staff and students through OPAC system. A reading section with seating capacity of 60 readers provided in the library.

Services and facilities at the Library
- In library all sections are given Close Access facility except WebOPAC.
- The newly added resources to library like books, journals, magazines, etc. are displayed for the convenience of students and faculty members so that they could be aware of the updated library collection. Newly added resources are set aside for display at least forten days.
- Library provides access to e-journals and e-books through N-LIST.
- Reading room facility is available for students as well as for faculties.
- Computer facility is available for students as well as for staff also.
- The library catalogue of books and other library materials can be accessed through WebOPAC
- Students can get xerox facility at a reasonable rate for the materials not issued for home use.
